My Christmas in New York City

It was in the year 2008 when I was in New York City to celebrate the Christmas. I ended up giving a grand celebration and treat to my friends on the Christmas Eve.
I decided to celebrate it keeping the upcoming winter theme in mind. I totally chilled my apartment with strong air-conditioners and made arrangements for preparing artificial snow in the garden of my apartment. I arranged for artificial Eskimos in the house and each of my friends were assigned an Eskimo.
Wines and champagne were flowing throughout the course of the party. Adequate arrangements were made for delicious foods including some unbelievable barbeques.
There was rock and pop playing during the party. People were dancing to the grooves of the music. The entire apartment was decorated with Christmas trees, beautiful and colorful ribbons and reindeers. Discotheque lights were installed so that we could totally get into the groove of the music beats The entire neighborhood was invited and then we all headed towards the Lake to see the happening of the venue. We guys played football in the nearby playground while the ladies were busy drinking and chatting at my apartment.
At 12 midnight we cut the delicious home-made Christmas cake. We had made a large sized turkey to suffice for about 25 people. The turkey was so deliciously prepared that we all completely hogged on it.
Then we all headed towards the nearby church to pray. In the wee hours of the morning we decided to go for long drives all around the city to witness what is happening in the city.
Basically it was one Christmas Eve that I and probably all present at the party will remember throughout our lives. However, I did miss my family a lot on Christmas Eve and seriously wished they could be with me on this very auspicious day.
