Christmas in Phoenix

My favorite memory of Christmas was the Christmas of 2008.
I had moved with my wife and newborn daughter from Grants Pass Oregon. We all had moved back to my home stomping grounds in Phoenix, AZ. We all move back to get work and be close to my family. My mom and dad live here, and also my grandparents.
My daughter is named Victoria and My wife is named Ashley. My parents never got to see there grand daughter until we moved down to Phoenix. We arrived by plane on September 28th, 2008.
I remember how excited my parents were to see my new born daughter. Victoria was born in August and up until now lived in Oregon with me and my wife and her family.
We got a visit in December by my cousin's Sasha and Sabrina from my moms country of birth Germany. It was absolutely great to be home again for Christmas. My mom and dad were enjoying the new addition to the family. My mom and dad had got all kinds of toys and baby stuff for Victoria and gave her some early.
My parents celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve, and this is how I grew up. Every year we opened Christmas presents earlier then most of the world.
On December 24th about 6:30 pm we all had a delicious and annual diner of my moms goulash. After we all ate diner we gathered in the living room around the Christmas tree and began opening presents. My daughter didn't know what was going on but she enjoyed all the attention.
My wife Ashley enjoyed her 1st Christmas in Phoenix and liked how we did Christmas.
I enjoyed this Christmas the most because we all came together for the 1st time and I will never forget it. I will never forget my daughters expression as we all gave her presents.
