I’ve been coming to Banff for over 20 years. I live an hour away from the Canadian Rockies and I do visit often….. Christmas is my favorite time of year here. You'll see incredible snow capped mountains and beautiful blue blue skies....

Come Visit this Magical Christmas Castle…….

What could be more lovely than waking up to the beautiful Canadian Rockies, it's a winter wonderland. What great way to spend the holidays!!!

In the land of a million Christmas trees, there's a magical Christmas castle known the world over as the Banff Springs Hotel. That's where I go.... Christmas at the Castle.

It was built over 100 years ago and styled after a Scottish baronial estate. You're in a picturesque mountain setting...... nestled between Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. Surrounded by mountains.

The hotel really gets into the holiday spirit with beautiful ornate decorations. Creatively appointed Christmas trees line the halls. Roaring fireplaces warm your heart. Candles burning everywhere you look. It's the most romantic place on earth.

Let the festivities begin.....

You’ll receive your own personally handwritten reply from Santa himself!!!! It will arrive via reindeer-air mail the next day, delivered to your room!!!

There are bedtime stories by the fire with milk and cookies.

There’s a Christmas Parade thru the halls of this Christmas castle led by Santa and Mrs. Claus with a cavalcade of Christmas characters. Lots of fun!!!!

You can ice skate on their outdoor rink or enjoy tobogganing for the young or the young at heart. Sip hot chocolate around a roaring bonfire....with a back drop of these majestic mountains. Try dog sledding or a wonderful sleigh ride!!!!

You can take a tour of the hotel....see the incredible holiday décor and hear stories from the past. Listen to the history of the hotel and take in the grand architecture. If you're lucky…. maybe get some gossip on some of the legendary guests who've stayed there. Marilyn Munroe????

It's a wonderful place for children.... really, that's what Christmas is all about....

It's a magical place to spend the Christmas Season with your family. It's the most romantic setting to share with your special someone. This coming from a hopeless romantic!!!!

My favorite is going for a walk on Christmas Day, with the sun glistening on the snow. You can here the snow crunch under your feet. The air is so so fresh and the sky so blue. So relaxing….then off to enjoy that turkey!!!

You can experience Banff in all seasons.... see the ice thaw in spring. Take in the brilliant views of the mountains in summer. See incredible wildlife.

Watch the autumn colors change... or ski this winter wonderland... try dog sledding, snow shoeing or experience a romantic sleigh ride...all kinds of things to do....

Banff is such a beautiful part of the country. I love it.It’s got a world class reputation. It’s a special place - it’s good for the heart and soul….. come take a look!!!!
